The World’s Tallest Arthanareeswarar Statue at Arulmigu Sri Bhuvanagirieswarar Temple
Our temple, Arulmigu Sri Bhuvanagirieswarar, is honored to announce the construction of the world’s tallest statue of Arthanareeswarar, which will stand at an awe-inspiring 72 feet and be known as “Sri Bhoologa Arthanareeswarar.”
Arthanareeswarar, embodying the union of Shiva and Shakti, represents the divine balance of male and female energies, signifying harmony, unity, and spiritual completeness. This statue will not only be a remarkable landmark but will also serve as a powerful symbol of this universal truth.
This project is poised to set a Global Milestone, making our temple the home of the tallest Arthanareeswarar statue in the world. Currently, the second-tallest Arthanareeswarar statue stands at 64 feet in Devgad and the third-tallest is in Jethian, Bihar. With this new 72-foot statue, we aim to make history and celebrate the divine union of Shiva and Shakti in a way that has never been done before.
